Church & Dwight Co., Inc. Guard Shack Technician in Harrisonville, Missouri

Responsible for all in and out bound traffic, equipment entering or exiting guard shack, and receiving of all materials into WMS system.

Shift: Sunday - Tuesday and alternating Wednesdays, 7am to 7pm

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately receive raw material inbound trailers and inventory into WMS system.

  • Timely departure and arrival of all freight equipment and inventory in WMS System.

  • Ensure guard log sheets are readable and accurate.

  • Communicates P.O. discrepancies to planner and or inventory control (via email if not available to speak to).

  • Complete trailer inspections on all trailers arriving to the facility.

  • Regular and predictable attendance is required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent oral/written communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational/time management skills.

  • Ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to work for long periods of time, under pressure, to produce results.

  • Analytical ability with an aptitude for data/numbers.

  • Knowledge of transportation procedures/practices, warehouse system, and inventory management software.

  • Windows literate, a plus.

  • Able to make decisions and demonstrate ambiguity.

Education and Experience:

  • High school degree or equivalent.

  • Minimum three years of experience working in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
