Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Creating new partnership opportunities with innovative organizations around emerging business concepts related to insurance; for example (but not limited to):
New methods of home buying, care and maintenance
Smart Home, IoT technology, and Auto Telematics
Autonomous vehicles, mobility services and alternative ownership and usage models
New sources of data and analytics technology
Create connection opportunities with Travelers business leaders and partner organizations
Work closely with innovation team and cross-functional business leaders to support innovation goals
Develop long term relationships with partner teams to grow future opportunities

In your role you will launch new partnerships and strengthen existing relationships with innovative and disruptive businesses. You will seek next horizon focused opportunities to partner in order to test and grow potentially unproven and emerging business models.
You will be joining a new, fast paced and growing team and will help to create the skills, practices and offerings needed to advance the innovation agenda. In your role, you will have high visibility, frequent interactions with senior leaders and a high degree of influence within the Personal Insurance business. Travelers Personal Insurance unit is an almost 10 billion dollar business performing at a high level and transforming our business through new partnerships like Amazon at https://amazon.com/travelers , Lyft , Lexus .
Education, Work Experience & Knowledge:
Previous experience in business development, sales or partnership roles at an executive level
Experience launching a business, startup a plus
Venture capital experience a plus but not required
Experience working in a startup is BIG plus but not required
Operates standard office equipment (Continuously) Sitting (Can stand at will) (Continuously) Use of Keyboards, Sporadic 10-Key (Continuously)
Bachelor degree required. 7 years of experience in corporate environment required.
