Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Partner with Program Owner, Learning Leaders, HR Technology and HR Leadership to identify the business processes for learning administration at Travelers. Ensure business processes are aligned with the strategic direction for learning at Travelers. Evaluate and recommend business process recommendations and learning management system feature utilization for the enterprise. Work with internal and external resources to design and deliver learning processes. Ensure that processes work within system capabilities, web portals and overall learning ecosystem at Travelers. Monitor and review learning measures to ensure system utilization is appropriate and stakeholder's needs are met. Ensures support resources are knowledgeable and equipped to support the enterprise learning processes, along with go forward changes. Develops and maintains end user communications, training, etc. based on the needs of the customer group. Other duties as assigned.

Job Specific & Technical Skills & Competencies:

Knowledge and proficiency in managing the following technology-based learning tools and resources: Learning Management System, Web conferencing Tools, Skills Management System, Online Authoring Tools, Assessment/Survey Tools, Simulation Software, Embedded Help Tools, and Online Courseware. Extensive knowledge of learning and development, including needs assessment, curriculum development, course design, media selection, computer-based training, distance education, and online/web technologies and project management. Experience with authoring systems and web development tools preferred. Knowledge of property casualty insurance helpful.

Job Summary:

Under general supervision, provides oversight and thought leadership on the business process development and enablement pertaining to the administration of learning at Travelers. Serves as the consultative partner to support training leaders to ensure training process are aligned to the emerging technologies and enterprise mindset. Identifies opportunities for process improvement and ensures consistency across the enterprise. Facilitate the assessment of needs, development of end to end processes and identification of change management. Serves as the liaison between the various learning leaders and the HR Technology team. Ensures high quality consultation, customer service and process design expertise. This job does not manage others.

Position Type:


Education, Work Experience & Knowledge:

Bachelor's degree in business, psychology, computer studies, learning design, educational technologies or other related discipline preferred.. Master's Degree in business, psychology, computer studies, education or related discipline preferred. Seven or more years of experience in designing or implementing technology-based learning strategies and tools preferred. . Previous system management experience preferred. Certifications in online learning, distance education, and web development preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of 6 years of experience in Learning, Technology, Human Resources or closely related discipline.
