Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:
The IA Product Owner is a Senior member of the Claim Technology IA team, responsible for executing business projects to automate new or existing processes using a combined skillset of traditional Product Ownership and Process Analysis. This role is a blend of two critical functions where you will be the Chief IA Champion, not only partnering very closely with Claim Business areas to solicit for process, requirements & analysis but also serve as the person who helps to define & drive the strategic vision for Intelligent Automation. The ideal candidate for this position will have the skills and experience necessary to:
Define and drive business priorities program deliverables in alignment with business scope.
Act as content authority for the Agile team regarding “what gets built”
Relentlessly engage with business and functional partners and other stakeholders that represent the program vision and business needs
Work collaboratively with the Business Owner, all members of the Agile team, and as an active member of the Product Council. Based upon the portfolio vision, drives, observes and/or reviews business feedback, as well as core capability strategy and enhancement efforts
Provide guidance to the team to ensure what is being developed satisfies the needs of the business.
Ensure Agile Team’s understanding of business objectives and OWNS Agile Team’s backlog
Determine how the business needs will be satisfied via design, build and test by the Execution Team.
Escalate business issues and questions for decision making to appropriate stakeholders.
Ensure overall delivery of business value and business adoption of solutions
Exercises judgment in planning and latitude in determining objectives of assignments
Make decisions that integrate business goals/objectives aligned with project/program
Utilize process modeling techniques to model AS-IS and TO-BE processes that will feed Process Design documentation
Partner closely with business areas to facilitate process improvement exercises, engaging external support when required
Educate business partners and Line of Business leads on Intelligent Automation capabilities and “fit for purpose” solutions
This job does not manage others, although through a matrixed relationship is responsible for leadership of the agile teams and providing input into performance evaluations.

Education, Work Experience & Knowledge:
Bachelor’s Degree with strong focus on science and/or technology preferred
5 years hands on software delivery experience
Demonstrated success partnering with business SMEs and Leadership
Working knowledge of Agile Frameworks, preferably Scrum and/or SAFe
Ability to gain broad understanding of overall software delivery roadmaps and related strategies
Experience with small to large projects of varying complexity
Ability to influence and foster buy in at all levels
Strong communication skills: verbal, written, listening to various levels across the organization
High School diploma or equivalent required. 5 years of programming/development experience required.
