Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Drives the strategy initiation, planning and execution of new or existing projects and initiatives, working with stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of the BI Operations strategic priorities and multi-year plan.
Responsible for various methods and practices around executing projects with the business, improving the overall project maturity across the organization, and tracking and reporting the conformance to plans and expectations of MYP oriented initiatives.
As an arm of the governance function, the director is responsible for monitoring, supporting and reporting on behalf of the organization’s projects, programs and structured work efforts.
With minimal supervision controls planning and execution of project activities and resources to ensure that established cost, time, and quality goals are met.
Applies advanced project management knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to project deliverables and processes in order to meet or exceed business needs and expectations.
Operates within defined parameters using a proven Project Management Methodology with flexibility to merge different methodologies in accomplishing collective goals.

This position is a primary point of accountability for the management and execution of multiple medium to large size projects that support achievement of the BI Operations strategic priorities and multi-year plan. This position directs cross-group resources to accomplish BI Operations and organizational goals. Role requires tight coordination with multiple Business & IT partners across Business Insurance.
Education, Work Experience & Knowledge:
BA/BS in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience.
7+ years preferred in the Insurance Industry.
Experience working in a capacity around strategic alignment preferred & project teams preferred.
Operations background and experience, preferably in a field based environment.
Presentation experience - the ability to draft and present information to diverse groups and stakeholders.
Project and Demand Managementbackground helpful.
Property Casualty knowledge.
Basic understanding of underwriting and marketing functions and environments.
Experience and skill in managing across functional and organizational lines.
High School diploma or equivalent required. 5 years of project management experience required.
