We are seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to join the Aetna PDI team. This team is responsible for a suite of Provider Data applications, as well as system optimization to bring efficiency and effectiveness for Aetna Provider Data Innovation. As a Business Analyst, you would be the conduit between our business stakeholder and our internal development teams. You would be responsible for translating Epics to detailed stories and ensure the new requirements are understood and implemented as defined. This position also requires the technical ability to perform system configuration and analysis. The ability to map business requirements to the system configuration is essential. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create innovative high quality and defect-free solutions to meet our clients business needs. Fundamental Components:Experience with SQL queries required Prior Health Insurance Industry experience and Provider data is a plus Technical configuration and VB Script experience is a plusKnowledge of Provider data business processes is preferred Ability to gather and translate business and functional requirements into technical requirements Proven ability to document, track and resolve issues for incoming and outgoing client data file feedsProven ability to deliver results within budget and on time Proven ability to have strong communication skillsProven ability to demonstrate pictorial view of system flow to help understand requirements Proven ability to Focus on details Strong collaboration skill in a diverse working environment Team player with a bias for action and the desire to be part of an innovative, dynamic environment Contributes to the review of Test Planning and Test Execution strategies Knowledge with SharePoint is a plusBACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:5+ years Business Analyst experience. Must possess sound knowledge of structured IT application development lifecycles, methodologies inclusive of Use Case tools. Ability to recognize complex problems vs. objectives and apply creativity to analyze situations, develop solutions and procedures. Ability to perform Technical Analysis of system configuration to determine business logic Aetna is about more than just doing a job.
