Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Develops and maintains RCR platform capabilities by monitoring and researching ways to improve upon the current RCR platform and/or business capabilities based on BU strategies, BI underwriting strategies or updates, coverage issues, emerging issues, KPIs and the overall competitive landscape. Consults and provides RCR analysis of business capability performance, strategies, rules, and metrics including newly developed products and platform changes, enhancements, and processes. Completes projects related to the RCR Platform specifically relating to business capability demands including enhancements, defect queues, initiatives and business analytical summaries, along with ongoing activities for the design and delivery of the RCR platform. Partners with Risk Control Specialists to facilitate RCR change and creation of new enhancements including developing and evaluation of those enhancements. Consults with the Business Unit Liaisons and Technical Leaders as needed to identify opportunities to ensure consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness of business capabilities across markets, business units, and lines of business. Supports Risk Control organization and all business partners who consume RCR reports, including but not limited to: interaction with Risk Control SMEs on new development and revisions of RCR structure, communication and decision support, strategic work intake, core capabilities and special projects. Manages projects and processes independently with limited supervision, including the template change and approval process. Ensures the accuracy of the information entered into the RCR platform including testing changes made to the RCR platform to verify the accuracy of the changes and that they meet the requirements from the business. Works within specific limits and authority on assignments of that may be difficult and are often complex. Influences others through explanation of facts, policies and procedures including the enforcement of the governance approval process for any RCR changes. Provides input into the development or modification of currently established processes and procedures to drive efficiencies. Provides input into the training required for Risk Control team members and Underwriting Partners with respect to the implementation of RCR platform changes. Ensures the consistency in state specific and countrywide requirements pertaining to the RCR platform. Performs other duties as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Specific & Technical Skills & Competencies:

Possess exceptional organizational, quantitative reasoning, critical thinking, interpersonal, time management, verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated project management skills. Foundational knowledge of commercial insurance product coverage or underwriting preferred and/or other insurance experiences (i.e. Agency, personal insurance, financial). Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Job Summary:

Risk Control Reporting (RCR) is the platform Risk Control uses to develop Risk Assessment reports for all Business Units who consume these reports, as well as to send documentation to customers and their agents. Under limited supervision, responsible for the development, maintenance, enhancement and enforcement of process and procedures for the Risk Control Reporting (RCR) platform This job does not manage others This job works under General Supervision: Incumbent independently performs a variety of duties, including potentially complex duties within established policy guidelines; responsible for a defined set of assignments (e.g. assigned customers, claims or other specified set of responsibilities); is expected to set priorities and meet specific goals and objectives of the function or unit. (Typically pertains to advanced/operational, senior professional, unit supervisor)

Education, Work Experience & Knowledge:

3 to 5 years of business experience in Risk Control, claim, product, analytics, technology, or underwriting fields preferred. Knowledge of Java Script preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required. Minimum of 3 years of business experience in a multi-line insurance environment required.
