Aetna Sr Eligibility Consultant in Hartford, Connecticut

This position is specifically focused to support the end to end eligibility process of a new large client. This includes setting up and maintaining an electronic 834 eligibility daily change, coordinating and correcting all fallout daily, escalating and collaborating with business partners to resolve issues in timely manner, developing and managing manual processes as needed, and recommending process improvements to develop efficiencies going forward.

Fundamental Components:

Must have electronic file experience. Must be creative problem solver and excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently. Detailed process oriented mindset required.


Minimum 5 years experience in electronic files. Proven track record of quickly resolving fallout and reducing occurrences in future. Ability to understand system limitations and recommend and implement alternate client friendly solutions.


The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Associate's degree or equivalent experience.

Telework Specifications:

Must be full time in office, no exception, in any one of the following options: Sunrise, FL; Hartford, FL or HighPoint, NC. All other Aetna offices will be considered upon request based on experience of candidate.
