Responsible for shifting monitoring practices from reactive to proactive by symptom monitoring to proactively recognize indicators of potential system failures (i.e. system slowness, volume changes, spike in errors, any KPI nearing a threshold). Assist with the development and roll out of new business process flows and information sharing practices. Responsible for symptom monitoring which allows the business to proactively recognize indicators of potential system failures. Utilize Business Intelligence monitoring tools AppDynamics and Aternity to create performance baselines and successfully monitor anomalies, symptoms of failure, and key performance indicators. Leverage tools such as ServiceNow, Omnibus and the Tivoli Enterprise Platform to efficiently identify, alert, and mitigate system incidents. Engage all appropriate subject matter experts for anomalies in order to identify root cause and document all findings in ServiceNow. Work with ServiceNow data in Numerify to perform trend analysis. Employ ServiceNow data in Numerify and leverage Splunk dashboards and queries for predictive analytics and custom trend analysis.
Qualifications Requirements and Preferences:
-Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field.
-Minimum two years of experience working with business intelligence and analytics tools including AppDynamics, TEP, ServiceNow, Aternity and Numerify (or equivalent like Tableau).
-Must have experience running scripts and queries in Splunk; working with SQL, Java or C# for investigations or root cause analysis and to automate different aspects of the process; and experience working with business processes or requirements in order to translate to necessary application changes; interfacing systems.
-Understanding of ITIL and health care technology ecosystems.
