Job Description

Job Title:Sales Operations Manager

Reports to:Director, National Sales

Location:Herndon, VA

We are seeking a new team member for our sales team who will work on developing and managing new a strategic team to grow customers and revenue. In this role you will supervise daily operations a customer service (inside sales) center and assume ownership of the customer service sales process, implementation and execution. You will also own sales reporting and analysis including performance metrics, trends, forecasting and opportunities.

What You Will Be Working On:

  • Lead a team of Customer Service Representatives in executing strategies, objectives, and specific goals set forth by management to ensure internal and external customer needs are met.

  • Develop objectives for the call center’s day-to-day activities

  • Conduct effective resource planning to maximize the productivity of resources (people, technology etc.)

  • Assume responsibility of budgeting and tracking expenses

  • Recruit, hire, train, and manage customer service representatives in completing their tasks and meeting goals established by leadership team.

  • Identify and address training and performance opportunities to improve position and department performance.

  • Manage data, reports, and program analytics related to marketing outreach, sales, demographics, investments, performance, compliance, and other relevant metrics

  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to make educated decisions and maximize selling effectiveness

  • Support and expand the adoption of Beacon’s technology platforms

  • Prepare and present periodic sales reports to company management for purposes of making key business decisions

  • Key contributor on projects relating to sales model design, responsibility and metrics

  • Deliver presentations to teams and executive leaders and sponsors.

What You Will Need to Be Successful in This Role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, marketing, or in a related discipline.

  • Previous Supervisor/Management experience. Effective manager, successful recruiting experience, effective time management, effective resource and workload management, customer service and dispute resolution skills.

  • Experience in a call center environment or fast paced sales environment strongly preferred.

  • Must have a proven track record of sales generation.

  • Proven experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
