CACI is seeking a ServiceNow System Integrator to support our program in Herndon, Va

What You’ll Get to Do:

As a Intergrator you will support the following: development, and systems integration support to program, infrastructure and information security activities, participating in agile testing practices with the development team and product owners.

  • Perform analysis of documented user requirements and the design of test plans in support of user requirements.

  • Design and develop the program’s test strategy, test plans, test specifications, test evaluations and results ensuring the comprehensive testing of platform functionality, workflows, business rules, interfaces, performance, and inbound and outbound data requirements.

  • Document all test results and where defects are discovered in the Sponsor’s issue tracking system and assist in their resolution with the Sponsor’s project teams and business units.

  • Author test cases/scripts, create test data and document expected test results. Coordinate user acceptance testing with Sponsor business units and IT partners providing feedback to the team and Sponsor’s business units. Document testing tasks the Sponsor's issue tracking system.

  • Validate all defect fixes and escalate issues that may affect the schedule or quality of the system.

  • Define, track and publish quality assurance metric reports.

  • Review and approve system and functional documentation as part of the testing process and make suggestions for changes or improvements where required.

  • Provide technical support during software maintenance and upgrades.

  • Present test status reports including root causes, scope, risk and impact to the program.

More About the Role:

  • Participate in business requirements discussions, design sessions and functional specification reviews with the project team and business units.

  • Document and maintain end to end processes, tool guides, strategic, training and technical artifacts used to support Sponsor’s IT service management operations -- promoting our ability to ensure that service delivery processes and procedures are followed.

  • Plan and coordinate agile program management process activities such as sprint planning, review, retrospectives and demonstrations.

  • Performs requirements gathering using agile techniques (identifying actors and their actions), forming high level requirements (epics), breaking those down into more detailed requirements (user stories), developing acceptance criteria and plotting requirements onto project roadmaps and into more detailed systems concepts of operations.

  • Plan and coordinate pre-control gate reviews including scheduling of meetings and preparation of briefings/presentations.

  • Coordinate project schedules, including participation in meetings; documentation and distribution of minutes and action items; and tracing action items for successful completion in issue tracking system.

  • Ensure artifacts and processes are maintained to reflect the adoption of any changes to our IT service management processes and systems.

  • Facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint review, sprint retrospective and other related meetings.

  • Document meeting minutes to post on Sponsor’s content management system. Maintain correspondence, files, articles, standard operating procedures in Sponsor content and knowledge management systems.

  • Perform technical writing and editing of word processing and other computer- based documents, integration of various sources into a cohesive product which may be delivered.

  • Provide technical support to development team members on requirements gathering to promote faster time to value -- ensuring modular, incremental, cadenced delivery in each sprint cycle.

  • Manage and publish any and all documentation supporting the use of IT service management tools, the transition of new services or the use of existing services.

  • Participate in program-level and organizational program review boards to foster cooperation within and across programs.

  • Participate in technical exchange meetings, design reviews and control gates.

  • Include the tools and skills that are required and desired. A table of tools is acceptable.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Top Secret SCI Full Scope Security Clearance

  • Certified ServiceNow Administrator

  • ITIL v3 Foundations Certification

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in computer science, information systems, or related degree or 5 years of equivalent experience

  • Demonstrated in Java development and/or software automation test engineering

  • Demonstrated experience in creating, reviewing and updating test scenarios and execute test cases

  • Demonstrated experience with programming and testing methodologies – functional, regression, white-box and black-box testing

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in computer science, information systems, or related degree or 5 years of equivalent experience

  • Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills in order to articulately express complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Demonstrated ability to provide clear and accurate explanations of complex technical activities, procedures and processes to technical and non-technical audiences

  • Demonstrated ability to review the work of and provide guidance to team members

  • Ability to lead technical teams and/or serve as a technical resource to coworkers and external components

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Certified Scrum Master

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), IT Business Management (ITBM) and platform suites

  • Demonstrated experience in release, sprint, and user story application/module testing in the ServiceNow platform and application suites (ITSM, ITBM, ITOM)

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), IT Business Management (ITBM) and platform suites

  • Certified Product Owner

  • Demonstrated experience in Java development
