We are looking for a Lead .Net Developer to join the Verizon Sales & Services IT Team. You will be responsible for leading large and complex business initiatives.
Design systems & applications that deliver business functions or architectural components.
Develop system architecture that improve designs & mapping form to function.
Collaborate with the business partners, business analyst and interfacing team to define user interface, screen navigation and integration with interfacing systems for the system enhancements.
Analyze and improve product features.
Educate team members about integrating systems collaboratively & efficiently.
Provide guidance to the junior members, both onshore and offshore, to develop, unit test and integration test the application modules.
Collaborate with interfacing teams, define target dates for unit testing and integration testing and ensure end to end robustness and scalability of code.
Participate in defining coding standards, ensure timely completion of code review and security scans with Fortify and technical debt assessment for the code enhancements and take steps to meet the standards for these elements.
Support integration testing and end to end system testing and UAT. Partner with system test lead and UAT lead to resolve defects, address application stability and security vulnerabilities and ensure superior user experience for the software modules.
Collaborate with interfacing teams and take action to resolve the defects.
Assess project risk, proactively take remedial action and ensure robust system performance and stability in production.
Adopt Agile, Dev ops and other enablers to improve effectiveness of project delivery.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience in a Windows .NET 4.5+/Oracle development environment including digital (web) platforms using C#, WCF, WebAPI.
Even better if you have:
Experience in developing applications using JQuery, AngularJS, and Node.js.
Demonstrated experience working in a CI/CD environment using Jenkins, Git/Stash/BitBucket, MSbuild.
Demonstrated experience working in the AWS Cloud using Ansible and PowerShell scripting.
Working knowledge RPA (robotic process automation).
Working knowledge of AI/ML technologies (Vespa).
Experience with current web technologies, tools and standards.
Demonstrated success evaluating and adopting emerging technologies.
Demonstrated ability to mentor, motivate, influence and collaborate at all levels of a large, complex organization.
Ability to work thrive in a large and complex environment.
Ability to explain technical information to non-technical users.
Effective Verbal and Written Communication – ability to work directly with end users and business partners.
Demonstrated ability to design/develop/deploy innovative solutions to complex business/system problems.
