Variety - working with clients from a broad range of industries About the role A great opportunity has become available for a Senior Account Executive to join the Corporate Practice in the Hobart office. The Corporate team cater insurance and risk management needs to meet the requirements across an impressive range of clients. As part of this position you work with clients to manage their portfolio across all classes of insurance.

As a Senior Account Executive, you will manage a portfolio of clients; ensuring high quality customer service is provided at all times and mentor an Account Executive.

Key Responsibilities

Take a pro-active approach to all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients Develop and implement appropriate Service Plans for Clients and ensure we meet service standards Foster and maintain effective long term relationships with key client decision makers Maintain an awareness of all large and potentially complicated claim related matters and assist claims personnel in the negotiation of equitable claim settlements on behalf of clients Possess an understanding of all major classes of insurance which the Company offers to its clients and keep abreast of all new technical and product developments Develop and maintain meaningful working relationships with insurers, clients and colleagues through regular contact and liaison; Actively develop additional business from existing portfolio; Develop, implement and manage effective renewal, retention and defence strategies in conjunction with the Managing Principal Qualifications Skills & experience

Ideally, a minimum of 5 years broking experience within general lines of insurance Prior experience managing a portfolio (small to medium corporate accounts) Possess a thorough understanding of all aspects of insurance

A strong understanding of insurance products and wordings

Prior experience conducting insurance gap analysis Ability to undertake Gross Profit BI calculations for renewals and assist in BI claims settlements would be highly regarded Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with strong influencing and negotiation skills Tier 1 FSRA Compliance is essential and a tertiary qualification in Insurance Broking will be highly regarded but not essential Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills About Marsh Marsh is a global leader in insurance broking and risk management.
