Business Excellence Manager

  • The Business Excellence function is responsible for strategy development, analytical support for key business decisions and cross-functional project management.

  • The job holder is accountable for driving and project-managing cross-functional supply chain initiatives. He or she will collaborate with stakeholders from multiple functions at varying level of seniority, ensuring the project team is motivated, focused and on-purpose.

  • This is a highly visible position which will have frequent access to the leadership team. The ability and willingness to build trust, understand other’s point of view and resolving conflicts is critical to the success of this position.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate opportunities and put together business cases to support key business decisions

  • Lead cross-functional project teams to plan, scope, implement and manage supply chain initiatives

  • Be a strategic thinking partner to identify issues, and frame up solutions / options for discussion when needed

  • Manage project milestones, schedule and budget against pre-agreed targets

  • Provide regular update to the leadership team, manage expectations, escalate issues and solicit support when needed

  • Facilitate workshops and conduct interviews in relation to projects

  • Establish and maintain effective partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders

Requirements

  • Graduate from reputable university with undergraduate or master degree

  • Good business acumen . Thorough understanding of key business drivers

  • Demonstrated experience in influencing cross-functional stakeholders without position power would be highly regarded

  • Experience in consulting or advisory preferred

  • Project Management Certification a plus
