Kaiser Permanente CRE Contracts Associate in Honolulu, Hawaii
Administers of contracts and proposals for KP National Facilities Services organization involved in construction of new and/or retrofit hospital buildings and other medical facilities.
Under supervision, reviews contracting documentation related to field contract requests. Analyzes contract requests based contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to determine compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, corporate policies and NFS procedure. Enters contractor commitment and invoice data into appropriate systems including the Contract Database and Material Management System.
Analyses and records competitive bids, reviews contract database in response to requests from field to ascertain qualifications of contractors related to insurance, licenses, financials and other conditions. Updates contract database to reflect actions taken.
Prepares and administers routine correspondence, negotiation memoranda, and contract documenting contract performance and compliance. May conduct research to support contract audit and/or facilitate NFS contracting trends.
Assists more senior contract professionals in working with internal or external project teams on issues and developments relative to assigned contracts.
Assists in contract closeout including identifying, documenting and disseminating best practices and lessons learned. May perform contractor assessment from a contract management perspective.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in contracts or purchasing working with regional customers and suppliers.
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
License, Certification, Registration
- Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, OR four (4) years of experience in a directly related field preferred.
