Manages a team supporting and/or implementing software project(s) and/or internal systems. Defines, documents and manages scope, expectations, implementation approach, deliverables and acceptance testing criteria.
Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas or sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate specifications. Successful track record in applications implementation and as a manager. Expert knowledge of all applications within a business area; plus some knowledge of other applications. BA/BS degree preferred.

Manager, Network Region Build (NRB)
We are looking for a Manager of Network Region Build with expertise and passion in solving difficult problems in infrastructure deployment and circuit provisioning. If this is you, at Oracle you can design and build innovative ways to deploy the network for new regions. These are exciting times in our space - we are growing fast and working on ambitious new initiatives. As a Network Region Build Manager, you are responsible to manage and coordinate resources to meet project milestones and build schedules for the deployment of network infrastructure in OCI Data Centers. This includes high level and low-level network designs, planning, deployment build schedules, removing any roadblocks to meet project deadlines while developing and maintaining cross functional relationships. This includes supporting efforts to automate and scale the number of regions deployed through cross functional work and demands. This is a growing strategic operational role and will require a strong Networking background coupled with a passion for delivering highly available infrastructure and solutions.
5 years of people management experience; leading teams with local and remote members
5 years of network implementation/consulting experience and understanding of cloud technologies and network security
Knowledge of networking protocols such as BGP, TCP/IP, IPv4/6, OSPF, DNS, SSL, and IPSEC VPN
Current or past technical network experience with routers and switches in a Data Center environment is required
Experience with Leaf-Spine / CLOS architecture
Experience with resourcing, updating roadmaps and unblocking projects
Ability to solve conflicts and issues in multiple contexts
Creative and analytic problem solver who uses metrics when available to back up solutions and decisions made
