IBM Microsoft Analytics Go to Market Leader in Houston, Texas
As an IBM consultant, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will analyze, define, configure, implement, test and support projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of Microsoft. You are a valued team member, serving as a liaison between IBM and our clients to deliver outstanding results.
Your Role and Responsibilities
We are currently seeking an experienced Microsoft Analytics Senior Managing Consultant to assist in leading our go to market and delivery efforts to support our clients.
The Microsoft Analytics Senior Managing Consultant is responsible for selling and delivering large, complex projects or programs within a consulting practice:
Leads large, geographically distributed, cross-line-of-business teams.
Analyzes market for new offering needs to build with a full structure of consulting services and solution combinations clients buy for their Microsoft Analytical needs
Qualifies and shapes deals, lead solution architecture and design, define statements of work, and close deal with delivery team ramp up
Responsible for overall delivery, managing revenue, costs, profitability and client satisfaction.
Manages client executive stakeholders, has strong negotiation skills and has advanced communication skills, including experience in building Senior Executive relationships.
Executes programs effectively amidst significant business and technical challenges.
Expert knowledge of achieving business mission and transformation.
Extensive working knowledge of IBM strategy and must be able to apply that understanding to influence or guide project stakeholders.
Complex program management process, methods and tools experience with large programs involving complex systems integration or custom development, with rapid or agile development and package integration.
Can oversee two to three projects for delivery excellence along with working 2-3 new opportunities in Microsoft Analytics solution suite.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
At least 7 years of experience in business intelligence consulting and design
At least 3 years of experience in Azure configuration and any combination of Azure Data Factory, Azure Blob Storage, Azure SQL DataWarehouse, Azure Analysis Services, Azure Machine Learning
At least 3 years of experience with PowerBI
At least 7 years of experience with SSIS, SSAS, SSRS
At least 5 years of experience with report data modelling
At least 5 years of experience in ETL technologies
At least knowledge of Azure Stream Analytics
At least knowledge of Azure Data Lake Analytics
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
At least 10 years of experience in SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS
At least 5 years of experience in Azure
At least 10 years of experience in report modelling
At least 5 years of experience in MDX(SSAS)
At least 5 years of experience in Azure CosmosDB – consumption via Web Applications
At least basic experience implementing ERP solutions (i.e. SAP) on Azure
At least basic knowledge with Databricks and/or Azure Databricks (Python/Scala/Spark SQL, SparkR, SparkML, SparklyR, related technologies)
Microsoft Certification in Azure based technology
