Responsible for sales of Oracle consulting services.

Responsible for selling the Oracle consulting services. Develops new accounts and/or expands existing accounts within an established geographic territory, industry, product segment, or channel.

12 plus years of relevant field sales experience. Able to develop strong internal relationships. Able to network and develop strong business relationships with customers such that they turn to Oracle for their resource needs.Able to generate leads and submit proposals to the client utilizing a broad knowledge of Oracle service offerings.Able to generate consulting services and nurture and close the transaction. Viewed as an expert in the field. Recognized authority and leading contributor in immediate business area/function. Work is non routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/ business skills.

Public Sector Consulting Sales - Federal Civilian - DHS, Justice, Treasury, Legislative territory - *Consulting Sales Rep*

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

This role will align to both growth and existing ORACLE Public Sector Civilian accounts and as a result, a key portion of the role will be focused on growing install base accounts, opening dormant accounts and identifying new logo accounts in order to grow a " book of business" that will develop a strong revenue backlog and individual annuity. This role also includes territory planning, account development and lead generation, which are critical components to success.

In this role, the successful candidate will generate demand for Oracle's service offerings (both applications and technical solutions), develop opportunity execution plans, identify key team members and resources needed to properly scope the project(s) to meet client needs and ORACLE business parameters, and manage the customer relationship(s) from initial discussions to close of deal. The candidate will provide leadership for all opportunities through identification, solution design, proposal submission and contract negotiation.

The successful candidate will principally be the consulting manager of your accounts and own the relationships for the ORACLE consulting line of business.

The incumbent will work closely with license teams, line of business, portfolio/delivery and back office teams to deliver mission critical, value-based business outcomes for Civilian customers.

Additional responsibilities will include forecasting 3.5x pipeline for future accounts, accurate and timely reporting in CRM & other appropriate systems, and managing accounts receivables for your individual account portfolio.

WORK EXPERIENCE

This is a senior level, pursuit leadership role and requires a seasoned professional with varied career experiences including at least 5-10 years of technical services sales (database, security, FMW, cloud) and / or applications services sales ERP/CRM/APPS and/or Business Analytics experience with a strong track record of new account development, territory building and quota performance. Previous sales experience in Public Sector sales in Civilian or DoD is required. Experience at SIs or Federal Primes winning large deals is a plus. Knowledge of Federal Contract vehicles also key to success.
