Regional Sales Manager - Single Use Technology

How will you make an impact:
The role of the Regional Sales Manager for Single Use Technologies is to drive and adapt the global SUT strategy
into the region. The focus of this role will be to galvanise and motivate a team of 8 SUT Technical Sales
Specialists, covering SUT Consumables, Hardware and Automation, to hunt and develop new opportunities
at both existing and new accounts. The manager will be expected to communicate effectively to the regional
commercial leader in the U.S. as well as the global TSS leader for SUT.
This role is managing the U.S. and is a remote position, ideally living near a major airport.
What will you do:
Develop and execute the regional strategy for single-use technologies business development within the U.S. Region
Create an operating mechanism that allows for seamless interaction of SUT TSS with their respective Bioproduction Account Managers that they support.
Creates and executes strategies regarding SUT: Competitive intelligence - win/loss analysis - strategic analysis - sales technique coaching.
Drive new product introduction or other important messaging activities, generally in close collaboration with Market Development, Product Management, Field Applications and other TSS colleagues.
Own the area's SUT financial objectives.
Determines direction and gives guidance in a variety of SUT sales situations.
Drive mindshare into the market for our single-use brand and value proposition (Tradeshows, associations, events, relationship with A&E firms... ).
Facilitate geographical connections, leverage best practices between covered territories, coordinate SUT approach between global sites of key accounts, generally in close collaboration with Global Core Account Management.
How will you get there:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry or equivalent is required
Extensive experience in Sales, Business Development and/or Strategic Account Management serving the Biopharmaceutical Industry
Experience selling Bioproduction / Single Use Technology strongly preferred
Previous leadership experience is preferred
Skills, Abilities & Knowledge:
Outstanding team working skills to add value in a highly matrixed organization
Strong collaboration skills
Strong knowledge of the biopharmaceutical market
Sufficient technical background in single-use technologies preferred
Ability to lead, inspire and motivate a team to deliver results
Travel 50% of time
