IBM Watson Care Manager Services Consultant in Houston, Texas

Job Description

IBM Watson Health is currently looking for a Watson Care Manager Consultant to join our team.

The Watson Care Manager Consultant (WCMC) focuses on soliciting, documenting and refining system requirements as they relate specifically to a Watson Care Manager implementation. As the WCMC, you may perform integration analysis and design tasks as they relate to customer integration activities. You will execute configuration activities and configuration validation testing as part of a WCM based project and will help to provide stake holders a clear vision of the business solution. You will typically interact directly with customer end users and under the direction of a project or client leader. On small projects the WCMC may also perform the duties of the project or client leader. The candidate does not need experience of Watson Care Manager as this will be provided. Experience with SaaS solutions is desirable though.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for working with clients, Watson Care Manager Software Services, Watson Care Manager Product Development and IBM Support teams.

  • Accountable for contributing to, but not necessarily owning, detailed plans, schedules, critical path analysis and change control management

  • Identify issues and research feasibility of business cases and resolution of service delivery issues.

  • Will be responsible for designing configurations via workshop sessions with customer representatives and stakeholders, completing actual configurations and testing/iterating over completed configurations

  • Provide training and guidance to customer staff regarding use of WCM

  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with clients and Systems Integration partners and staff

*Flexibility to travel weekly to client project sites a must

Preferred Candidates will have:

*Reporting experience (such as Cognos, and/or Crystal reports design)

*Proven track record of effective written communications and presentation delivery.

*Social Services program experience with Government/public sector

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 1 year minimum SaaS experience

  • 1 years minimum of business consulting experience

  • 1-2 years experience in Social enterprise management for public sector (such as specialized courts, child welfare programs, juvenile justice, substance abuse treatment and healthcare reform/health information exchange programs)

  • Experience working with off-shore teams

  • Good knowledge of and hands-on experience using Microsoft Project to plan, estimate, track, and control project performance for application development project.

  • Readiness to travel 75% travel annually

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Reporting experience in Cognos, Cyrstal reports design
