Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Validates business objectives are met and value delivered through successful integrated business testing in support of execution of the project/program.

  • Employs a Claim-wide view of what is being delivered and provides a cohesive understanding of the inter-relationships between the components of what is being tested

  • Collaborates across the business, IT, and CBIA

  • Represents Claim as the business testing expert and ensures business needs are appropriately represented in the E2E process

  • Independently performs a variety of duties, including potentially complex duties within established policy guidelines

  • Sets priorities and meets specific goals and objectives of the function or unit

  • Ensures the test strategy and test plans adequately cover the requirements across initiatives.

  • Assists in defect resolution

  • Provides coaching and mentoring to other team members to facilitate a better understanding of business testing techniques, processes and deliverables required to support successful project delivery

Job Summary:

As a member of the Claim Business Delivery Office, you will play a critical role in assuring the quality of new and enhanced capabilities fully satisfy the needs of our claimants, claim professionals, and business partners. You will look across the entire Claim portfolio and work closely with the business to ensure the quality of the changes being delivered including: changes to our Core Claim platforms; introduction of new Digital capabilities; as well as changes to our analytics and reporting capabilities.

You will lead the direction, strategy, and planning for business testing in support of the delivery of Claim strategic initiatives, tech currency, and enhancement work being delivered both within and outside the Agile trains. You will be accountable for maintaining best practices for Business testing across applications and strategic projects / portfolios within Claim.

You will collaborate and partner with business customers, Claim Technology, Agile Release Trains, and Product Owners across multiple teams in reviewing business requirements and design considerations to develop and oversee the Business Testing assignments. As the User Acceptance Testing Lead (UAT Lead), you will work closely with the Agile trains, and others, to provide End-to-End (E2E) Release level UAT support when proposed solutions or changes are complex and have a direct impact on the end user across Claim. You will ensure coordination across all Claim initiatives and provide visibility to cross-line impacts. This includes coordination across the Core Claim, Digital, and BI&A trains. In partnership with the Product Owners and Agile teams, you will spend time reviewing user stories/features and other appropriate artifacts (e.g. tech currency) to understand release content to develop and oversee QA activities and practices.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

  • 5 years of technology or business related experience preferred.

  • Experience managing and influencing others preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

Three years of Technology or Business Testing experience required. High school diploma or equivalent required.
