Business Unit Introduction:

Our Globally integrated IBM Cognitive Process Services team provides offshore, nearshore and onshore solutions to Client delivery service requirements across industries and geographies. With various streams under F&A (Finance and Administration) we excel in Record to Report (R2R), Procure to Pay (P2P), Order to Cash (O2C) along with Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) HR/learnings and Integrated Source to Pay Operations for our Clients.

Who you are:

The Procure to Pay Process leader serves as the primary technical leader for Procure to Pay operations, interacting with Delivery Centers and teams from Sales, Solutions and Assets. The leader would leads a global team of Subject Matter Experts in Procure to Pay and plays a prominent consultative role with new clients, leading client workshops including Process Transformation engagements, solution validation, Procure to pay components in orals and RFP responses, demonstrating deep process knowledge and explaining how work will be delivered with IBM. The Process Leader is responsible for reviewing complex solutions and, prior to sign off, communicating risks and assumptions to delivery leadership.

What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for ensuring that procure to pay teams implement best practices, leverage Robotics Process Automation, technology, analytics and tools effectively and work with clients to evaluate process changes that will improve performance

  • Engage in day to day management of operational teams when performance requires improvement, and guide procure to pay transformation during transition to realize accelerated benefits

  • In addition to the above responsibilities, The Process Leader guides the Procure to pay team in developing and modifying process bluebooks, solutions standards, SLA and Internal Control standards, and process maturity models

  • The Process leader also drives clear and concise communication within the team, and concise executive level reports to client management

  • Close partnering with the procure to pay Offering Lead to operationalize cognitive and automation solutions in the existing portfolio and development of a broad suite of reference clients for these differentiating solutions

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Overall 18+ years of experience with At least 10 years of experience as a Procure to Pay Subject Matter Expert

  • Possesses extensive experience and knowledge in leading Procure to Pay teams, with direct exposure to all relevant sub-processes

  • Expert level consultative skills leading client workshops and Procure to Pay consulting engagements

  • Understands and applies expert knowledge of F&A (Finance and Administration) Procure to Pay programs, technology, Robotics, policies, and practices to resolve critical issues or develop new/complex programs

  • Understands organizational resources, priorities, needs and policies, and unique requirements of O2C processes

  • Proven client facing skills with senior executives and CXOs (client and internally)

  • Has in-depth knowledge and experience in executing business processes, management and measurement systems

  • Has deep experience in driving teams to work in a service oriented, outcomes based and customer focused environment

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Strategic thought leadership in designing future state delivery and strategies for attaining them

  • Understands future employee, industry and F&A (Finance and Administration) trends and applies this understanding to develop solutions to create a high-performance culture

  • Experience in trade-off decisions which have major impact on business operations, revenue, profit, and client satisfaction

  • Ability to interpret and evaluate business results and alerts executives of impacts (client and internally)
