Job Description

As a member of Oracle’s CEGBU

Product Development team, you will define Product specifications and/or

strategy for one or more products within Textura portfolio. In this role, you

will work with multiple teams to gather and analyze business requirements, and translate

them into Product specifications. You will understand the market trends,

clients’ needs and introduce innovative features to the product line. You will

collaborate with multiple local and remote teams on Product strategy, Planning

and Execution and communicate product functionality to all stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for requirement

elicitation, analysis of data requirements, writing user stories/use cases, creating

conceptual prototypes/ mock-ups and convert them into Product backlog

  • As an SME, you will clarify requirements for

local Development and Testing teams

  • You will facilitate seamless collaboration,

identify/remove impediments to ensure timely delivery of projects

  • You will provide guidance on test cases and test


  • You will conduct UAT of the developed features

and provide feedback to the teams

  • You will perform duties independently under

general, minimal supervision within specific assignments.

  • You will be expected to acquire subject matter

expertise in the functions and activities of the department or other assigned

work unit; establish and maintain effective and cooperative working


Qualification & Skills

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer

Science/Engineering or equivalent

  • At least 4-6 years of experience in Product

Management/Business Analysis preferably in Engineering, Procurement and

Construction domain

  • A certification in Product Management/Business

Analysis is desired

  • A certification in CSM/CSP is desired

  • Thorough knowledge of SDLC and Agile based

development methodologies

  • Knowledge of tools such as JIRA, MS-Visio, MS Project

Plan, MS Office suite

  • Knowledge of fundamental concepts of Databases

& Programming languages

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills,

impeccable organizational and time management skills

  • Strong analytical skills and out of box thinking

  • Comfortable to work with ambiguous

specifications and ability to prioritize on the fly

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Work as part of a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will define product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience.
