This role resides on the CPG (FMCG) Client Analytics team, within the Oracle Data Cloud Data Science function. Analysts will support the delivery of Oracle Data Cloud Targeting and Measurement products for U.S. based CPG (FMCG) advertisers. This includes:
Running proprietary models and conducting Analyses that:
o Measure the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns on media channels like Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat and their impact on offline sales of the products being advertised.
o Inform the definition and selection of optimal target audiences for advertisers to use in their digital marketing campaigns.
o Result in the introduction of new enhancements to our measurement and targeting products
o Result in improved efficiency in delivering our measurement and targeting products
- Daily responsibilities include:
o Setting up, running and conducting quality control (QC) checks for measurement models and target audience models, ensuring their accuracy and timeliness.
o Preparing preliminary measurement results for review by the U.S. based Analytics Team – deliverables are typically in the form of a Powerpoint presentation.
o Supporting the execution of ad hoc ‘meta’ analyses across campaigns that uncover broader opportunities for advertisers to improve campaign effectiveness.
o Building tools and processes in collaboration with the U.S. based team that improve the efficiency of the Client Analytics teams both in the United States and India.
o Working on special projects that explore innovative new capabilities that will enhance the value of our products to clients.
University degree in an applied business or quantitative field such as economics, operations research, mathematics, engineering, statistics, or other discipline with a focus on analytical problem solving and quantitative analysis.
3-7 years of professional experience in conducting analyses that interrogate large, diverse data sets. Experience working with CRM or other ‘customer’ datasets will strengthen consideration.
Past professional experience working with FMCG companies in areas of marketing research or marketing effectiveness will significantly strengthen consideration.
Experience using analytics software packages to run and QC statistical models.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines and ensuring high quality

Significant experience using Microsoft Office applications (Powerpoint, Excel, Word) to conduct internal analyses and prepare client deliverables
Comfort developing capabilities based on applying statistics and Computer Science foundations
Familiarity with, and desire to master industry standard tools including SQL, Python, and VBA will strengthen consideration.
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Spotfire) will strengthen consideration.
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Designs, develops and programs methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured, diverse “big data” sources to generate actionable insights and solutions for client services and product enhancement.
Interacts with product and service teams to identify questions and issues for data analysis and experiments. Develops and codes software programs, algorithms and automated processes to cleanse, integrate and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources. Identifies meaningful insights from large data and metadata sources; interprets and communicates insights and findings from analysis and experiments to product, service, and business managers.
Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years relevant work experience. BS/BA preferred.
