Oracle HCM Platform team

is looking for Senior Quality Engineers, with proven skills in both Manual and

Automation Testing, with a wide

experience in various Quality Assurance processes and lifecycle.

Role Summary: Qualifications and skillset required:


Possess B.E/B.Tech/ M.E/M.Tech/MCA degree in a field relevant to

functional area


Possess 3 – 5 years of software Quality Assurance experience –

both Manual and Automation


Extensive knowledge of Manual Testing, Testing methodologies,

SDLC, STLC, Bug Life Cycle, Testing Life Cycle and database testing procedures,

along with Web application Testing


Hands on experience of 3 or more in automation tools like QTP

,OATS, Selenium


Experience in developing automation scripts from scratch (Not

record and playback)


Experience in any scripting language like PERL,VB Script, JS


Experience with Bug Tracking tools.


Experience on working with Windows and Unix/Linux platforms


SQL and RDBMS knowledge is a desired


Good Java programming knowledge and Object Oriented skills


Demonstrate excellent knowledge of functional areas as well as good

understanding of System Architectures of Web based applications, client-Server

Technologies, Middleware


Integration testing of various components


Demonstrate strong proficiency in sharing knowledge of

functionality and Quality Assurance practices with others through both informal

interaction and formal training


Possess excellent written and oral communication skills


Possess excellent analytical skills with ability to recognize

and articulate deviations from design specifications and standards


Self-motivated with the ability to work well both in groups and



Attention to details & strong analytical and engineering



Demonstrate good decision-making skills


Proven experience with process improvement methodologies,

supporting Quality Processes and Quality tools


Proven experience working with and creating test strategy,

process, and Quality guidelines


Strong ability to interpret and summarize test metrics,

including the ability to correlate, create and present result reports for

various audiences


Proven experience with process improvement methodologies and

supporting Quality process and tool experience


Experience on OOBIE Reports is desired


Knowledge of JIRA, ALM, Confluence, TestRail


Agile/SCRUM process development methodology knowledge/experience

is a plus


Certification in Testing domain is a plus

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.

As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will develop quality standards, control methods and theories to be utilized during manufacturing, testing and inspection to access product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance methods.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
