QA Analyst 3-ProdDev
The PreProduction department at Oracle-Taleo is responsible for all the activities surrounding the installation of the Taleo suite products in the production environment. As a member of that team, you will take part in all the activities related to the deployment of new versions and products in the production environment, as well as upgrade simulations before those new versions are installed on live customers. These tests include not only the new versions of our software, but also of new product and technology supporting our application. You will also analyze and track anomalies found by the customer support team, find workarounds as well as validate fixes provided by the R&D team.
You are recognized for your technical skills, autonomy, organizational skills and mastering of DB concepts and Web environments. You possess good communication skills as well as a good capacity to work on many projects simultaneously and enjoy teamwork and problem solving.
The following skills are considered an important asset:
Degree in Computer science or related topic
4 years of experience in QA and/or Customer service in an IT environment
Functional knowledge of databases
Good knowledge of the Office suite
Good communication skills
Advanced English spoken and written; French an asset
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.
As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will develop quality standards, control methods and theories to be utilized during manufacturing, testing and inspection to access product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance methods.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
