Position Title UAS Data Manager (ASD Technician)/FLEX Pool

Essential Job Function: POSITION CONTINGENT UPON AVAILABILITY This is a worldwide rotational assignment as part of a Flexible workforce pool (Flex Pool); with duties beginning at the Las Vegas, NV Program Office. Employee must be able to support TDY deployments to various CONUS/OCONUS locations as required in support of Predator-series UAS maintenance. As Data Manager, manages and maintains an Aircraft Scheduling and Documentation (ASD) maintenance and utilization program. Develops long range plans and establishes production schedules to meet customer requirements.
Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual utilization schedules for maintenance. Proficient in operations of the USAF Maintenance Information System including Core Automated Maintenance System (CAMS), Centralized Engine Management System (CEMS) and other maintenance management database library programs. Maintains equipment records in library files. Collects, reviews, and files documented information for planning and scheduling of various maintenance activities. Ensures accurate documentation is maintained for aircraft engines, munitions, missiles, AGE configurations, Time Compliance Technical Orders, time change items, and special inspections. Trains management staff on uses of maintenance database functions and documentation libraries.
Education/Training: HS diploma or equivalent. On-the-job experience will be considered in lieu of formal education/training. Coursework in library science or records management a plus.
Upon hiring, “on the job” training may be required at Indian Springs/Creech AFB, NV; or similar location as assigned. Upon successful completion of all required training, the employee will report to assigned location.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in aviation Plans & Scheduling or related field. Experience in a military technical document management environment desired.
EMPLOYEE MUST MEET ALL OCONUS DEPLOYMENT CRITERIA, TO INCLUDE PRE-DEPLOYMENT MEDICAL SCREENING AS A CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT. THIS IS A NON-TRADITIONAL POSITION THAT WILL SUPPORT A FLEXIBLE WORK SCHEDULE.

Must be able to provide proof of US Citizenship upon hire. DoD Secret Security Clearance eligibility is required. Must submit updated SF-86 within 30 days of hire start date. Must be able to gain/maintain the required security clearance level and special access authorization as a condition of continued employment.
Current DoD Security Clearance
Associate’s and/or Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
Prior experience with UAS systems
