Oracle Agency Account Executive – Advertising, Media, Publishing in Indianapolis, Indiana
Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory (mainly Tier 3 accounts).
Primary job duty is to sell business applications software/solutions and related services to prospective and existing customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.
Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years field sales experience with focus on large strategic accounts including applications sales experience. Highly developed selling, customer relations and negotiation skills. Successful sales track record. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle*s competitors. Interaction with C level players. Team player. Ability to penetrate accounts and meet with stakeholders within accounts. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Presentation skills. Travel may be needed. Bachelor degree or equivalent.

Working in the C-suite, this senior-level sales role will be NetSuite s go-to person selling to corporate advertising companies, focused on Texas, Florida, Georgia and other southern states. You will lead your territory, leveraging investments and resources from across NetSuite, with unquestioned priorities in-mind: helping NetSuite maintain its leadership status in SaaS and leading your region to achieving its number! You will be an example to the sales team and help us build our AMP vertical in this region. As such, prior experience in the media, advertising & entertainment segments is necessary.
In a high-volume, high-velocity environment, you will thrive on leading the entire sales process, including identification, progression, forecasting and, most excitingly, closing. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition and map it to clients pain. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers. You will be our Quarterback and spearhead the Oracle NetSuite relationship among all internal and external constituents.
Organized, entrepreneurial, self-starter with 7-15 years applications sales experience, with focus on building territories, executing vision and achieving your number. Highly advanced selling, customer relations and negotiation skills, with formal education in Challenger Sales, MEDDIC, and the alike is a plus. Successful sales track record of achievement with Presidents Club distinction is a plus. Team player who is coachable and thrives in fast-paced environment. Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills. Moderate travel will be required.
