The Manager, Talent Acquisition will drive talent sourcing and hiring efforts of the best talent in the marketplace, in support of Celadon’s strategic desire to hire and develop talented team members.
Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, you will closely partner with hiring managers, leadership and HR Business Partners to deliver exceptional talent acquisition solutions across Celadon Group’s corporate, administrative and operations functions. The ideal candidate for this team will act as a strategic talent advisor, in partnership with our key stakeholders, driving end-to-end recruitment processes and workforce planning solutions. Our ideal candidate will possess the ability to advocate for the company across numerous markets and professional communities, while maintaining excellent relationships with key stakeholders: hiring managers, leadership, candidates, and the talent community at-large.

Establish workforce plans across functional areas that will serve as guides to strategic sourcing initiatives.
Manage, leverage, and challenge existing recruiting strategies, methods, and systems to generate a proactive and efficient approach to sourcing, screening, assessing and on-boarding qualified top talent.
Drive effective sourcing strategies through a variety of sourcing channels including the use of social media with an emphasis on passive candidate attraction and maximizing the benefits of social recruiting tools. Includes creatively customizing successful search strategies to drive results.
Effectively manage, develop and train direct reports in support of talent acquisition initiatives.
Cultivate and maintain ongoing partnership with business leadership to understand business unit dynamics, workforce planning strategies, internal mobility and recruitment needs that support a seamless hiring process.
Establish, track, and analyze recruitment activity metrics and report on progress to business leadership, as requested.
Attend recruiting events, conferences and networking functions to build relationships, source candidates and further knowledge of the talent/business landscape.
Identify and manage strategic placement and contract hire firms that add value to Celadon’s talent strategy.
Provide subject matter leadership, including engagement and thought leadership both within the company, and across Celadon Group.
The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of HR practices, procedures, and talent acquisition strategies. The candidate will be fluent and proficient with Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and with talent acquisition software that simplifies and streamlines standard recruitment business processes. Fitting of our HR culture, we seek a strong communicator who can influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization. Advanced organization and planning skills with the ability to balance competing priorities is a must.
