The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is a highly value-added role that contributes directly towards successful outcomes by way of effective people solutions. The HRBP will lead the implementation of HR initiatives and serves as a consultant to management on human resources-related issues. The HRBP is focused on assessing organizational needs, driving change and building high-performing teams. The HRBP is a culture advocate and maintains an effective level of business literacy on short-term and mid-range objectives.
Essential Functions
Ensure the delivery and execution of high-quality, high-touch human resources support for the business through effective HR planning, performance management, process improvement, leadership coaching, legal compliance and team building skills.
Builds strong, trusted relationships with business groups and departments to drive comprehensive HR strategies and initiatives, policies, and procedures.
Act as a catalyst for change in support of business reorganizations and initiatives. Identifies opportunities and drives improvements.
Facilitate talent discussions that will elevate the capability of associates and managers within the organization.
Promote a culture of collaboration and partnership between HR and the business units.
Consults with managers and VP of HR/legal counsel on employee relations issues including investigating, coaching, advising and reporting when necessary. Acts as a neutral party, counted on to advocate for a balanced perspective.
Work proactively with business managers to continuously improve HR service levels and ensure client satisfaction.
Provide functional support to assigned HR administrative programs and compliance efforts.
Monitors each department’s environment and invigorates the associate orientation experience.
Manages special projects.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
4-7 years of overall HR experience (previous HR Business Partner experience preferred), PHR preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
Strong track record of successfully navigating employee relations and/or organizational consulting.
Proficient knowledge of HR laws, practical principles, concepts and standards.
Demonstrated success in team building and creating positive people outcomes.
Ability to plan, organize and influence change.
Strong communicator at all levels of the organization.
