Description

The Human Resources Generalist serves as a key business partner to our administrative and operational staff. Through effective and proven skills in employee relations, organizational development, conflict management and performance management; the HR Generalist strives to provide outstanding support to HR business partners while ensuring successful and consistent integration of HR programs, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

·Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues.

·Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations

·Provides day to day performance management guidance to operational management (coaching, counseling, career development, corrective action)

·Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.

·Assist with onboarding and on-going culture integration, supporting communication initiatives, and driving consistent messaging.

·Provides support in the areas of staffing, recruitment and selection, employee relations, wage and salary administration, and employee training/orientation.

·Have thorough knowledge and understanding of Company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook and standalone policies.

·Establishing, organizing, and supervising the maintenance of department records, ensuring complete accuracy and confidentiality.

Minimum Requirements

Requirements:

·Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related degree required

·PHR/SHRM-CP or advanced degree preferred

·Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation, benefits, employee relations, training, organizational development, performance management, federal and state employment laws.

·Strong conflict management skills.

·Excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask with attention to detail

·Ability to identify, drive, and/or participate in implementing process improvement activities

·Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment, where multiple priorities need to be effectively managed, while maintaining composure and flexibility in a structure environment

·Excellent verbal and communication skills

·Excellent follow-up skills

·Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
