CACI International GIS Administrator / Analyst in International, South Korea
CACI’s GIS team is growing and seeks a GIS Administrator to support a government client at Camp Humphreys & Osan Air Base, near Pyeongtaek, Korea.

What You'll Get to Do:
This position will work as part of the Mission Command GeoBase Korea team whose purpose is to maintain and evolve both GIS data and a suite of mapping/dashboard web applications to track capability status and inform strategic decisions.
The position’s responsibilities will include serving as our primary government client contact, leading data initiatives including creating and finding data sources, translating business process obstacles into opportunities for efficiencies, identifying program risks and suggesting mitigating strategies.
More About This Role:
Typical daily tasks include collecting requirements for web map applications, meeting with end users to evaluate solution suitability and success, monitoring progress towards established goals and schedules, manipulating and analyzing GIS data, identifying spatial data sources, assisting with web and database application maintenance, training users and supporting military exercises.
The position is located on Camp Humphreys, near Pyeongtaek, Korea with some work at nearby Osan Air Base, both of which are a little more than an hour south of Seoul. The position is in support of a 5-year contract which began on July 1, 2016.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
BS or BA degree in GIS or a related discipline
Five plus years of experience with Esri's ArcGIS Desktop and Server technology
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Strong communication (written, verbal, public speaking) skills
Self-motivated, proactive, and a desire to contribute as part of a team.
CompTIA's Security+ certification or willingness to obtain certification.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
MA or MS degree in GIS or a related discipline
Experience with and knowledge of enterprise databases
Experience with ArcGIS Server technology
Experience providing formal or informal technical training
Previous experience working with or for the military
Experience working with geospatial imagery
Experience with scripting to automate tasks or programming web applications
