CACI International Project Technical Manager (CENTCOM) in International, Kuwait

Job Description

CACI is seeking a Project Manager to support our customer in Southwest Asia; position will be based at one of six (6) OCONUS bases.

  • Responsible for planning, organizing and managing a project or a definable piece of a larger program for successful completion and performance consistent with contractual agreements.

  • The Project Technical Manager will lead an on-site team focused on installation of electronic security system (ESS) to include integration, implementation, operation, sustainment and troubleshooting of electrical components, equipment and systems for power and communication (fiber optic) plant (outside and inside) supporting the ESS.

  • Directs and supervises all support resources for the performance of project assignments and activities. Manages the direction of non-technical and technical project tasks through the design, implementation, installation and testing in accordance with project objectives.

  • Projects managed are typically of moderate complexity and geographically separated from corporate office locations.

  • Responsibilities include managing all assigned personnel and monitoring all aspects of project cost, schedule and performance to include risk and quality management.

  • Directs and supervises all support resources both on-site and remote (to include subcontractors) for the performance of project assignments and activities.

  • Manages the direction of technical project tasks through the design, implementation, installation and testing in accordance with project objectives.

  • Project that will be managed is typically of moderate complexity and geographically separated from corporate office locations. Must have experience managing deliverables, procurement actions, and other activities from a remote location.

  • Responsibilities include managing all assigned personnel and monitoring all aspects of project cost, schedule and performance to include risk and quality management.

  • Builds, develops, and maintains productive relationships with clients and vendors while maintaining a high level of quality technical service.

Required Skills:

  • Possesses a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business or technical field related to engineering, construction or IT.

  • Possesses a minimum of five (5) years of experience in installation, testing, operation and maintenance of electronic systems.

  • Experience and understanding of construction designs for power and communications plant in support of electronic security system installation.

  • Must possess or have the capability to obtain and Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.

  • 100% TDY at customer site locations.

Desired Skills:

  • PMP Certified from accredited institution.

  • Basic understanding of USAF Security Forces guidelines and regulations (AFI 31-101 and ESS Equipment Siting Guide.

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, including MS Project.
