Job Description

CACI Seeking a Supervisory Electrical/Electronics Technician to support our customer.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Under general supervision, provides the maintenance of site/field equipment and/or the installation, rearrangement, and removal of equipment and associated wiring at the customer site location.

  • Leads an installation team and performs a wide variety of complex activities associated with installing, maintaining, servicing, and testing electrical/electronic/mechanical equipment.

  • Understands and interprets electrical & mechanical drawings.

  • Applies technical knowledge of electronic principles to put equipment in operational condition and solve problems.

  • Works closely with others regarding scheduling and general technical requirements.

  • Maintains a project folder that shows the project phases from beginning to close out.

  • Maintains solution standards/processes/policy documentation as agreed, having regard for accepted business standards.

  • Builds, develops, and maintains productive relationships with clients and vendors while maintaining a high level of quality technical service.

  • May make recommendations for improvements or modifications to correct problems.

  • Provides instruction and guidance via training courses to customer's personnel.

  • Troubleshoots and corrects malfunctions using specialized test and diagnostic equipment. Provides work leadership to less-experienced field engineers and technicians.

  • May participate in special projects as required.

  • Coordinates the logistics needs for field service projects, including the selection of qualified personnel/resources for assignments. Develops, plans, estimates costs, and executes requirements per contract.

  • 100% TDY at customer site location.

Required Skills:

  • Possesses a minimum of five years of technical experience in a specific function/technological area related to physical or electronic security systems.

  • Possesses a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in that functional/technological area.

  • An additional four years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.

  • Must have active DoD Secret Clearance.
