Wells Fargo Analytic Consultant 4 - Remediation Database Analyst - C2C in Irvine, California

The Commitment to Customer (C2C) Center of Excellence is an enterprise function within Wells Fargo’s Chief Administrative Office (CAO). This organization develops and implements consistent enterprise standards for remediating commitment-to-customer issues across our consumer lines of business. The organization enables more effective and coordinated monitoring, reporting and stakeholder communications. Enhancing our practices and outcomes for customers is a critical part of building a better Wells Fargo.

With the centralization of Commitment to Customer ("C2C") Remediation functions into the Center of Excellence ("COE"), we have a need for a highly skilled Analytic Consultant 4 – Remediation Data Support. This Analytic Consultant will play the critical role of leveraging deep business systems and database knowledge to perform advanced data validation of commitment to customer remediation populations of customers who were harmed.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Partner with C2C COE Data Analytics team and business SMEs to research and identify source data

  • Work with lines of business to provide SOR data extracts to C2C COE Data Analytics team

  • Create and maintain data staging processes for use with SQL, Oracle, and SAS environments

  • Design, create and maintain remediation data warehouse infrastructure

  • Create and maintain business and technical requirements for infrastructure projects

  • Partner with TOG teams for system conversions and represent Data Analytics in project meetings

  • Ensure adherence to data management/data governance regulations and policies

  • Partner with C2C COE Data Analytics teams to create SharePoint Designer solutions

  • Develop in-depth Auto Loans, Education Financial Services, and Credit Cards data knowledge

  • Analyze complex SQL code to validate populations of harmed customer

DIVISIONAL INFORMATION

The Chief Administrative Office enables strong business performance and company operations by leading across a number of enterprise imperatives: culture, brand, and reputation.

Positions may be able to sit within other Wells Fargo Footprint locations. This is not a remote or telecommute role.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling; or a Masters degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling

Desired Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • 3+ years of data warehouse experience

  • Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations

  • Exposure to Wells Fargo HELMS application

  • Knowledge and understanding of Shaw, ACAPS, FDR, ECaR, and/or other Consumer Lending applications

  • 1+ year of Oracle experience

  • 4+ years of SQL DBA experience
