Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product.
Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Seven years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.

We are hiring an energetic, customer focused Principle Analyst with development, operations or support experience.
You ll be helping develop from the ground up a high powered, distributed team that understands deeply how our cloud platform works so they can help customers through problems they encounter and be the bridge between engineering, operations and the Oracle support organization. We are building a team based on strong values with egos left at home.
As part of the broader engineering organization, you will act as the voice of the customer to influence operations business processes and tools to improve the customer experience. This role is integral to the success of our short and long term customer relationships and is critical to the success of the platform.
To build a best in class customer experience blending customer support, operations and communication disciplines.
Identify and help write and/or maintain standard operating procedures (SOP s) for the customer operations team.
Analyze and understand security and compliance needs related to executing standard operating procedures.
Analyze and articulate the business value in creating automation (through script) for various steps in standard operating procedures.
Analyze and articulate requirements that drive business processes for the customer operations team.
Author and refine epics, features, and user stories related to building tools that support the customer operations team.
Evaluate and actively groom the product backlog supporting tools for the customer operations team.
Have the aptitude to uncover and suggest Automation and Tooling opportunities
Drive sprint planning exercises with the team through task rationalizations and roadmap planning.
Continually improve skills through work experience and training
Test automations of standard operating procedures and provide feedback/guidance on the quality of each automation.
Technical / Core Requirements:
B.S. in Computer Science or related field preferred, or at least 10 years industry experience
Strong documentation skills and organized approach to problem solving.
Familiarity and technical knowledge of automation platforms (Chef, Puppet, etc.)
Familiarity with unit and system testing methodologies.
Familiarity with RDBMS concepts (tables, views, procedures) and how to interrogate data during testing.
Customer-first attitude, willingness to serve customers goals and articulate them to team members.
Comfortable in high pressure situations.
Understanding of cloud computing concepts and platforms.
Proven ability to quickly learn new technical domains and then train others
Great verbal and written communication skills

This position is a supporting role in working with a team of technical experts that is leading the way in building next generation cloud experiences. As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining deliverables for automating tasks related to the standard operating procedures the team follows on a routine basis. The work will streamline and scale the operation and supportability of Oracle s customers cloud investments.
