What you’ll be doing...
This position leads and manages Global Supply Chain Systems projects. This position has responsibility forone or morestrategic projects simultaneously and is responsible for the management of end to end deliverables of the project. The position has no direct reporting resources but will be responsible for leading members on project teams; therefore, influencing and encouraging others to support projects over and above their BAU tasks is essential.
Collaborates withthird party development teams and support Ariba production system environment, including surround applications.
Engage with IT and/or third party developers on process innovation evolving the current project prioritization process and implementation of Supply Chain Systems information architecture and agile methodology.
Act as a change agent to foster a high quality culture throughout the organization and drive measurable business process improvements
Works with Sourcing, Procurement, AP functional leads and IT counterparts to set objects for Global Supply Chain Systems technology improvements in alignment with organizational and business unit strategies and objectives.
Creates cohesive project plans with identifiable critical path, task dependencies and major milestones, and manages the approved plans and schedules, ensuring successful completion within scope, budget, time and quality parameters.
Business and functional requirements analysis, system design and interpretation, testing preparation and execution and implementation oversight
Responsible for influencing peers, subject matter experts and executives within his/her own organization as well as peer subject matter experts and executives in other organizations including Sourcing, Procurement, Accounts Payable, Finance and 3rd party maintenance provider teams.
Maintains ongoing interaction with client groups and other functional areas relating to objectives, deliverables and related matters within the Supply Chain Systems and processes.
Generate ideas and solutions as well as designs and operationalizes solutions for other’s ideas.
Responsible for the successful completion of assigned projects on time and within budget.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Business application support experience.
Willingness to travel up to 25%.
Even better if you have:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
Experience in Ariba, supporting end users and suppliers in production, including interfacing systems and error analysis.
Knowledge of Global Supply Chain operational business processes, sourcing, procurement or supplier management experience.
Basic SQL report writing skills.
System training and end user testing experience.
Strong Access, Visio and Project skills.
Strong, excellent knowledge of Global Supply Chain Systems and best of breed Global Supply Chain solutions.
Project Management and Process Development experience.
Demonstrated cross functional experience in use of project development life cycles or other structured project management methodologies in customer facing situations.
Development and delivery of executive communication via Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
Ability at engaging and influencing large teams and functional leaders.
Ability to work independently, efficiently and effectively under extreme time constraints and deliver results by critical deadlines.
Show initiative, anticipates and prepares for upcoming situations, takes advantage of opportunities, acts quickly and decisively, addresses issues before they become problems.
