Seeking a talented Software Engineer to become part of a fast-paced,world-class software engineering team focusing on email and othermessaging. This individual will be a member of the Engineeringorganization, reporting to Product Development leadership.

The ideal candidate will work closely with fellow Messaging squad membersin maintaining and further enhancing key components of a cloud-based messagingplatform which will offer services similar to Amazon AWS SNS, SQS, andespecially SES.

*Duties: *

• Develop API s, MTA technology, back-end log and other processing services, notification services and other forms of communication components that make up a cloud-based messaging offering

• Build and maintain a highly-scalable back-end messaging system to receive, process, deliver, and report on large amounts of data

• Assist in the definition of verification methods, tools, and configurations for product testing

• Help develop and enhance automated release and configuration management systems for messaging software

• Operating effectively and with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines and escalate issues appropriately

• Work within a squad that is organized around a product backlog, with product owner and scrum/kanban master

• Create stories and tasks within Jira that are sized appropriately and estimated accurately, to achieve smaller and frequent releases for iterative and steady progress

Education:

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent in work experience and applied self-study

DesiredSkills:
