Verizon Front End Architect in Irving, Texas
What you’ll be doing...
The Enterprise Architecture group is seeking an UI/Front End Architect to play a leading role in evolving out Northstar Reference Architecture. The architect will partner with technology and business teams and evolve the UI architecture while also addressing specific challenges faced by the application teams in implementing the UI architecture defined by the Northstar.
This role requires strong technical skills in the UI space - Web (JS, CSS, HTML) / Mobile (Android, iOS). It requires experience with and solving for reusable UI components, content management solutions, tag management solutions, personalization solutions, analytics solutions and search engine optimization solutions to name a few.
This position also requires the architect to review, assess, recommend, and provide guidance and expert advice to evolving technologies in the UI/UX space. This individual will work closely with internal stakeholders and exploit opportunities to improve enhance Verizon systems to better address the needs of our customers
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Even better if you have:
A Masters degree or relevant.
Eight or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience with all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle, including System Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing, Debugging and Documentation.
Experience architecting Front-End User Interfaces (UI/UX) that maximize reuse.
Experience with Single Page Application Design (ex. React.js, Angular, Knockout).
Experience in React Native apps, or Mobile Native Apps (Andriod, iOS).
Experience with a Content Mgmt Platform and related technologies and languages. (Continuous Integration, unit tests, code analyzers, automation servers, workflows. Adobe AEM 6.x, Adobe Launch, and Adobe Target).
Experience with build tools (Grunt, Gulp, NPM, Bower, Webpack).
Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, Nightwatch (or relevant) for testing.
Knowledge of competing cloud platforms to AWS such as GCP and Azure.
Teamwork & collaboration skills to work across organizations and lead cross-functional teams.
Communication & stakeholder management skills.
Experience in Web Accessibility Standards (compliance with WCAG 2.0 Level AA).
Experience in web marketing concepts such as SEO, analytics, personalization, etc.
Experience with containerization and orchestration platforms such as Docker & Kubernetes.
AWS Solutions Architect or Google Cloud Certification.
