Current Need

  • Establishes account objectives and assignments for specific strategic INA customer base and delegates assignments to subordinate managers.

  • Account objectives are reviewed by VPSS and senior management to determine success of operating plan.

  • Involved in developing, modifying, and executing both customer and company policies which affect immediate operations.

  • Erroneous decisions will result in critical delays in unit operations and may jeopardize overall business activities.

  • Requires the ability to prioritize daily activities to ensure productivity of overall business strategy and goals

  • Regularly interacts with senior management and executive level personnel on matters concerning several functional areas and INA customers.

  • Collaboratively manage ongoing relations of the market with operations, credit, finance and other field or corporate organizations in order to optimize business results and customer satisfaction

  • Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance of, others in sensitive situations.

  • Manages activities of multiple, strategic INA customers through subordinate managers who exercise full supervision in terms of costs, methods, and employees. Establish and direct performance expectations

  • Responsible for representing the company by consistently demonstrating McKesson’s ICARE shared principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide “best in class” service, support and value for McKesson’s key strategic INA partners.

  • Accountable for understanding supply agreement commitments and for flawless execution of customer supply agreements and on-boarding of new business opportunities.

  • Increase profit margins for McKesson key strategic INA partners.

  • Coordinate the implementation and communication for OneMcKesson products and services.

  • Coordinate company product support and lead sales projects

  • Interpret account trends to management

  • Reduce operating cost by improving internal processes, increasing adoption rate of McKesson self help tools and systems, and by fully understanding customer business needs

  • Responsible for exceeding revenue goals for McKesson key strategic partners.

  • Responsible for the development of the subordinate managers to ensure their performance and objectives are met.

  • Prepares customer business reviews

  • Participates in sales team presentations to further enhance business growth opportunities, enhance selling skills and gain knowledge of customer

Minimum Requirements

5 years sales administration experience and demonstrated leadership skills

Critical Skills

Prior experience with SAP and is required

Additional Knowledge & Skills

Thorough knowledge of sales programs and functions, policies, practices and systems, and demonstrates leadership skills


4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience
