Independent Retail Pharmacy Intern
McKesson’s Undergraduate Intern program provides you with an opportunity to experience the healthcare industry first-hand. By applying your education to a real-life working environment, you will receive a solid foundation of experience as a McKesson intern. Through project-based work across key business initiatives, as well as hands-on experience, you will be exposed to many aspects of the business and draw upon your varied skill set. Further, by working in tandem with others, you will build a network of support to help you develop professionally. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic and growing industry!
Undergraduate Intern Program Details
Full-time work for 10 weeks
Position will reside in Las Colinas, Texas

Each intern is assigned a project-focused opportunityin a specific business unit and works directly with an Intern Coordinatorand Sponsor. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experiencein a dynamic and growing industry!

ROLE SPECIFIC OPPORTUNITY:
Within the Independent, Small and Medium Chain (ISMC) Support Solutions team manages all McKesson major external Buying Group partners and is responsible for the implementation of all new business for the segment. The ISMC segment represents over seven thousand community retail pharmacies all over the country. This position will have the ability to work with internal McKesson partners such as Sales, Rebates, Generic Program, Deal Development, Contract Administration, Pricing and Rx Ownership.
Must be currently enrolled in a degree program for theduration of the internship to be eligible
3.0 minimum GPA
Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor degree programand scheduled to graduate in the spring of 2019 or sooner.
Willingness to learn, develop, and contribute in a fun, fast-paced environment. Self-starter that brings both interpersonal skills and creative problem solving skills.
