7-Eleven New Store Development Project Coordinator in Irving, Texas

Overview

Reliably trigger processes as a new store project moves from and between disciplines (Real Estate, Environmental/Gas, Construction, Franchising, Licensing, Accounting, Etc) Facilitate the store development process through administrative support to Real Estate Development Directors, Real Estate Regional Construction Managers. Improve the accuracy, transparency, and efficient collection of pipeline management information û serving as the primary touch point for the status of a new store.

Responsibilities

  • Follow projects from start to 'project close'.

  • Develop and monitor project plans and overall progress, tracks milestones, resolves issues and initiate corrective action as appropriate.

  • Manage source systems with changes that drive major status and open dates.

  • Manage the risks to the projects successful outcome.

  • Reports progress of the project at regular intervals to key shareholders.

  • Accumulate and document unbiased issues that impact project(s) for root cause identification of future process improvement.

  • Initiate downstream new store events that will impact project dates - Franchising, Construction and Licensing.

  • Manage both the dependencies and the interfaces between projects and all key functions.

  • Collaborate with key functions, Accounting, Real Estate, Merchandising, Gasoline, Environmental and Construction to ensure that information is communicated and acted upon.

  • Initiates improvements to process, recommends creative approaches and innovative solutions.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelors/4 Yr Degree

Experience:

  • 2-4 years.

  • Project Management.

  • Communication - written and verbal.

  • Manage execution - strong sense of urgency, adaptability, initiative and influence.

  • Planning, Organization and Problem Solving, Analysis, Decision Making.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
