Verizon Wireless Senior Real Estate Manager in Irving, Texas
What you’ll be doing...
You will provide leadership and overall direction to a team of Real Estate Specialists reviewing and routing leases and environmental packages for securing/amending leases, and supporting company initiatives for new and existing cell sites in the west territory. You will ensure that all details of submarket projects are planned, communicated, and implemented successfully.
Building and maintaining close working relationships with real estate and engineering leaders in the submarkets.
Partnering with HQ, budget teams, territory teams, and submarket RE teams to identify opportunities for rent/lease reduction.
Identifying opportunities to automate manual processes and reporting, and standardizing across submarkets.
Collaborating with internal customers (sub-markets, peers) to share knowledge and best practices, and providing support for Real Estate Specialists and Managers across the territory.
Supporting the timely execution of agreements, holding team members accountable to meet SLCs for leasing and environmental reviews/approvals, and measuring and managing performance accordingly.
Ensuring team goals are aligned with company direction.
Developing the team and increasing overall team performance by exploring employees' interests, empowering team members, co-creating development plans, and matching employee interests to organizational needs of the business.
Providing team members with consistent performance feedback, ample career development guidance and opportunities.
Working closely with east territory peer and HQNRE teams to implement efficient processes/procedures for the MLA program.
What we’re looking for...
You'll need to have:
Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience in the wireless telecommunications industry.
Knowledge of the wireless industry including real estate, construction, transport, operations, and RF/System Performance functions.
Even better if you have:
Held positions in the wireless telecommunications industry of increasing scope and responsibility.
Strong leadership and organizational skills and the ability to develop, manage and track the execution of multiple projects simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and coach large diverse teams toward common goals and objectives.
Demonstrated ability to deliver quality results and to meet or exceed objectives while working in a fast paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
