As Tax Accounting Lead, you will be responsible for taking the ownership of coordination of statutory accounting and corporate reporting services for Eaton Hydraulics Division.
Your key deliverables:
Making sure that statutory books are kept in accordance with local accounting rules; supervision of the accounting records concerning fixed assets local book and statutory book GL accounts reconciliation in accordance with Eaton's procedures; preparing and updating the mapping of US GAAP - GL accounts to local accounts; supervising the reconciliation between US GAAP books and statutory books (Local Tax Law and IFRS)
Supervising preparation of statutory accounts; Leading preparations to the statutory audits (Tax Audit, assist during US GAAP based audits)
Ensure ethical standards are maintained in a manner that accrues maximum benefit to Eaton across all divisions
Supervising preparation calculation of tax liability; conducting reconciliation between taxable income or loss and the net income or loss resulting from the statutory books
Leading the Transfer Pricing Report Preparation
Supervising and managing month-end closings activities; preparing journal entries, variance analysis, and various financial reports
Supervising preparation of monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
Developing and performing special projects and analysis as required by the business management: (Logistics Accounting, Mark View)
Supporting facility compliance with GAAP/SOX requirements.
Supervising preparation of a variety of ad hoc reports
Calculating monthly Actual costs in ERP-MFG- Pro for the local tax, analysing variances of Standard Costs, Calculating Actual Unit Cost and Finished Goods report for VAT refund.
Supervising preparation of statutory accounts related with R&D expenses, assets and incentive amounts
Supervising R&D audits with Payroll and R&D Team regarding with R&D and SSI Incentives.
Assisting the Plant Controller in managing projects or issues in other countries of the region.
R&D Incentives implementation and coordination & SSI Incentives, to liaise with R&D and HR
Operational Tax Matters -Payroll Tax- Liaise with HR and Special Consumption Tax Refund - Liaise with Operations
Corporate Income Tax and all types of Indirect Taxes such as VAT or Special Consumption Tax
Relations with the Tax Office and with Independent Tax and Independent Audit Teams
Local Trade and Finance Compliance Issues, e.g. E-Invoice/E-Book
Corporate Secretarial Issues such as General Assembly Preparations
Professional accounting qualification (CPA – SMMM) / university degree
Experience in finance/ accounting and auditing within a multinational (manufacturing) environment
Strong knowledge of US GAAP; and Sarbanes-Oxley Regulations
Strong knowledge of local country statutory reporting requirements
Sound practical knowledge of corporate income tax /indirect taxes (FAS 109)
Experience in implementation of best practices and process improvement projects inarea of accounting and reporting
Strong professional presence
Ability to effectively manage people, set goals and delegate responsibilities
Experience in deploying strategic change
Very good working knowledge of the English language
Effective communication skills and ability to lead projects
Willingness to pursue continued personal development
