Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

Dyn is seeking a developer/systems engineer to assist withthe development of various platforms and applications. This is a highlycollaborative, fast-paced environment requiring strong communication andteamwork skills as well as the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
The candidate shouldbe familiar with the following:
Linux server administration and configuration
Virtualization (KVM), Containerization (Docker),microservices architecture
Building highly available, distributedarchitectures in the cloud (AWS)
Continuous Delivery and Integration pipelinesuch as Jenkins
Configuration management tools, Chef and/or Saltpreferred
Source control (Git) and package managementtools (npm, pip, etc)
Data analysis, centralized logging, securityengineering and operations
Collaborate with a small engineering team todesign, build, and deploy an automated platform
Develop well-documented code
Automate systems from infrastructure toapplication deployment using tools like Git, Chef, Salt, Ansible, or others
Develop playbooks for the repeatable deploymentof system components, or for performing routine management/deployment tasks
Deploy, manage, and maintain applications andsystems deployed to AWS, Bare metal, KVM, and Docker
Design and develop new features based on thedesign goals and user feedback
Pro-actively look for ways to enhance thefunctionality, reliability, operation of the platform
Develop and run test cases on applications andservices as part of deployment process.
Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation when needed
Candidate should be familiar with cloud, AmazonWeb Services, and DevOps
Candidate should have strong analytical andorganizational skills
Candidate should have concise communicationskills
Experience with securing Cloud environmentspreferred
Candidate should have Python developmentexperience, preferably experience with django, flask, TDD
