This position will act as the primary resource for assigned key physician and ancillary providers. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for supporting network in building/maintaining positive relationships with assigned hospital and health systems.
*Primary contact for some of our key large/complex providers *Strong, confident communication and presentation skills to work with key managed care contacts *Develop and maintain positive relationships with our provider partners *Collaborates cross-functionally to ensure resolution of escalated issues or projects *Educates internal and external parties, as needed to ensure compliance with contract policies *Meet with key providers to ensure service levels are meeting expectations *Proactive approach to conflict resolution and provider network management
Strong communication, critical thinking, problem resolution and interpersonal skills.
3-5 years related experience, proven and proficient negotiating skills.
Proven working knowledge of competitor strategies, complex contracting options, value based contracting, financial/contracting arrangements and regulatory requirements.
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
