Job Summary
Codes, debugs, documents, and tests modifications to existing applications as well as new development. Projects will focus very broadly within the Operations Applications area. Applicants will be required to engage in ongoing background checks through the duration of this position with continued passing results.

Primary Activities and Responsibilities

  • Code, debug, test, and support programs, applications, services, mobile apps, utilities and tools as part of the application development process
  • Assist in developing technical requirements documents from functional or business requirements
  • Provide production support responsibilities across one or more applications
  • Performs analysis of applications to ensure software meets or exceeds requirements and standards
  • Performs research and fact-finding efforts in the development of specifications
  • Design, Build, and Execute test cases, expected test results, and test data requirements
  • Miscellaneous activities and responsibilities as assigned by manager


Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree/4-year Degree

Equivalent Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 2 or more years of experience in Transportation/Intermodal Operations, Information Systems, or Logistics

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree/4-year Degree
  • 2 or more years of experience in Transportation/Intermodal Operations, Information Systems, or Logistics

Knowledge and Skills

  • Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies and their application
  • Knowledge of Oracle database management system (DBMS) and J2EE methodology
  • Knowledge of Java, Javascript and CSS
  • Knowledge of GIT
  • Knowledge of Web Services
  • Knowledge of Angular Framework, Maven, Docker management
  • Knowledge of change management processes
  • Written and oral communication skills for working with business partners
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Collaborative skills
  • Ability to interact with business partners, vendors, and technical staff
  • Ability to think and analyze logically
