CACI International Supply/Habitability SME (CSRAT/ERAT) in Jacksonville, Florida
CACI is seeking a Supply/Habitability Engineer for our Program at Norfolk Naval Station.
What You’ll Get to Do:
- Perform duties as a member of the Engineering Readiness Assist Team (ERAT) in the area of Habitability as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the following: general cleanliness, sanitation, adequacy of lighting, and heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC); potable water supply; drainage; electrical safety; general safety; missile hazards; overhead, bulkhead and deck preservation and treatment (e.g., carpet, tile, sheathing) and compliance of established criteria and programs. Provide training and assessments on Habitability to the senior technician level (often E7-E9 audience). Duties may include interfacing / briefing ship's Command. Make comprehensive reviews of ship’s material condition and provide recommended corrective actions.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Active Secret Clearance.
Ability to critically assess the material condition and working order of all Navy shipboard galley equipment electrical and mechanical, scullery, trash, store rooms, and habitability.
Experience in automated supply/maintenance management systems must be with NTCSS (R-Supply Unit or Force Level, OMMS-NG) software is needed.
Expert level knowledge with MS Office Suite products (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Familiarity with Navy supply and maintenance relationships, organizations, and management databases is highly desirable.
Experience obtained as a former U. S. Navy Senior Enlisted (Supply, Engineering and/or Food Service background) with tours on surface warfare ships.
Possess strong verbal and writing skills to effectively prepare and conduct shipboard inspections, training, and debriefs..
