Pacific Scientific is seeking for an enthusiastic, innovated, and self-motivated Analog Design engineer to design the next generation FTS while provide technical expertise and project planning support for new product development and existing product lines. This position requires experience interacting with customers and working in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership in and conduct activities associated with design, documentation, manufacturing and test support, to include product design engineering analysis, drawing preparation, cost estimation, and product planning, as well as support of business development (marketing) activities.
• Provide leadership in and conduct activities associated with support of existing product manufacturing efforts as it pertains to design, documentation, and general support of inspection processes, manufacturing processes and test processes and cost reduction activities to include engineering analysis, product design, drawing preparation, cost estimation, and product planning.
• Provide leadership of failure investigation activities through application of rigorous root cause analysis.
• Assist in design and development of automated test equipment.
• Provide support and expertise in development of manufacturing, inspection, and test related process procedures.
• Prepare reports and presentations related to design and development activities, including technical proposal submittals, and reports.
• Support kaizen-related process improvement activities.

Qualifications - External


Qualification Requirements:
• B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Master’s degree a plus.
• Strong knowledge of analog circuits
• +5 years of experience in the industry
• Experience using Cadence design suites, which include OrCAD Schematic Capture, PCB Editor, PSpice, etc or equivalent tools.
• Highly organized with a proven ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, manage several complex projects at one time, and utilize time effectively.
• Strong computer skills with familiarity with Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint
• Good communication skills and ability to present technical data to various levels of management, within company, and to customers.
• Ability to perform electrical stress analysis on EEE components
• Experience with Military design requirements a plus
