Job Description:

The Rapid Application and Assessment Team lead (RAAT) is responsible for all aspects of the the NGA SMART tool for the configuration management of all enterprise and production baselines for UFS SAS. The RAAT team lead will be the oversight for most software related Queues within ITEMS UFS for software related tickets. As the RAAT team lead you will be responsible for the RAAT team and ensuring they meet their BOE metrics for processing tickets. The RAAT Team lead will also be the Primary POC and Chair for the software governance meeting and the primary interface for the UFS SAM office for all new requests.

  • Understanding of Tier 1 & 2 System Administration.

  • Ability to resolve a wide range of system issues, troubleshoot software, hardware, and network issues, and address trouble tickets and service tasks associated with SCCM deployments.

  • Familiarity with Windows Active Directory and Group Policy Objects.

  • Maintain records of daily activities, problems and remedial actions taken, and/or installation activities.

  • Understanding of how to plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures through the SCCM console to protect data, software, and hardware.

  • Participate in technical exchanges as required

  • Must be able to attain DD8570 cert within 6 months.

Education & Experience:

  • Requires Bachelors Degree and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience.

  • Experience in lieu of degree.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must have excellent attention to detail

  • Must be a self starter.

Candidate must have an active TS/SCI with ability to obtain Poly.
